Laura Leigh spent over thirteen years of her career on the Owner’s side, and is now dedicated to managing the Owner’s interest in her role at Darden. Laura Leigh’s passion for the construction industry began while she was an undergraduate at the University of Georgia and interned on a project while there. Before joining the Darden team in 2019, Laura Leigh worked for the state of Georgia for over 13 years, where she most recently served as Regional Program Manager for the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Prior to her time at TCSG, she served in various roles in the Construction Division at the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC). During her time at GSFIC, Laura Leigh managed a total of over $250 million in projects.
Laura Leigh received her B.A. in Management from The University of Georgia and graduated from Georgia State University with a MBA in Real Estate. She sat on the Board with the GASFA (Georgia Association of State Facilities Administrators), is a member of the CMAA-SAC Scholarship Foundation Board and will serve as the CMAA-SAC President Elect for the 2019 – 2020 term. She holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a LEED Accredited Professional. In her spare time, Laura Leigh enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her dog Copper, as well as listening to live music, staying active, and enjoying all the things and food Atlanta has to offer. She has called Georgia home for over 27 years and currently resides in Smyrna.
