A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Greg applied his knowledge of construction and accounting to a role in Cost Management within the national projects group of an industry-leading contractor. There, he learned the ins and outs of the construction process, jumping in on a $160 million-dollar sports arena. Since then, he has developed a deep appreciation for the entire building process through his role in mega projects across the nation, including Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It was there that Greg transitioned to the owner’s side of the table, facilitating discussions across the entire team from design through construction, close-out, and even on through activation.
Still today, as Senior Director at Darden & Company, Greg appreciates the “big room” concept where he brings teams together to collaborate effectively, solve complex challenges, and brainstorm new ideas – all in the name of driving the schedule and maximizing the budget. As an owner advocate, he takes his job seriously and always aims to exceed expectations by leading with the end goal in mind. Well-suited to handle projects of varying degrees of complexity and within a multitude of markets, his diverse experience, hands-on approach, and adaptability are welcomed assets as he oversees the day-to-day management of projects from feasibility through initial owner operation. His motto: “There is no job too big or too small on which to make an impact.”
